THE DAWN

Sean Ryan & The Dawn is an Americana band based in the Quad Cities. The band recently finished its third album, “All Time Low", which was recorded and produced by Rob Cimmarusti and Sean Ryan at Real Trax Recording in Davenport, IA. The Dawn has shared stages with bands such as Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real (son of Willie Nelson), Miles Nielson (son of Rick Nielson of Cheap Trick), JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound, and Hello Dave. Sean Ryan also performs with Jim the Mule and the Kerry Tucker Band, the latter of which have performed with Soul Asylum and Golden Smog.

JIM THE MULE

A seasoned band based in the Quad Cities, Jim the Mule blends the twang of country with the gritty rock & roll textures of the late 60’s and early 70’s in order to produce something best described as Midwestern Alt-Country. The band has played hundreds of shows at over as many different venues and festivals all across the Midwest during the last twelve years, sharing stages and bills with the likes of Little Feat, The BoDeans, The Bottle Rockets, The Band of Heathens, and Backyard Tire Fire, to name a few.

In addition to “...earning a reputation around the area as one of the great, original live bands, with a sharp rootsy rock sound and its nasty chops,” - as proclaimed by Sean Moeller (Daytrotter.com) of the Quad City Times - Jim the Mule has also been productive in the studio during its first twelve years. The band has released numerous recordings including the self-titled studio CD “Jim the Mule," their 2008 full-length studio effort, “Last Solid Ground,” and are currently working on a new E.P to be released in 2011. Jim the Mule songs have received radio play on stations across the Midwest, from California to Maine, and Europe.
